Stunning country house in beautiful setting. Perfect location from which to explore . Lionel is an excellent host and has a special touch when it comes to design. The house has been perfectly furnished mixing contemporary with the original features of the property. A feast for the eyes. Extremely comfortable and clean rooms. We had the best night’s sleep in a very long time.

The property is a beautiful traditional house, fully modernised in a very sympathetic style. The host is very welcoming and friendly, helping to make the stay particularly enjoyable. Dinner and breakfast were superb.

A beautiful setting with lovely gardens well off the beaten track. Very peaceful. The proprietor was attentive and looked after us well following a very delayed arrival. A good choice as a base for exploring locally.
