Have been staying at the Hotel Principal for more than a decade and always recommend it—the location can't be beat and the service is excellent. Rooms are a little dated but clean, and the wifi is decent. Management has invested a lot of funding in improving the hotel over the past few years, and it shows.

The location is so welcomed to the downtown, it's just 2 blocks from Torre Latino, toilety, and shower in my room, and breakfast on the fifth floor.

With the exception of the noise late at night by some partying younger folk, and the cramped toile, I had nothing to complain about.
