“An ok place for a one night stay”

I have been to Cecil Hotel many times since 1997; I choose it because it's a no frills solution for a one night stay and it allows rest in a quiet area of the city, walking distance to the main city centre. The staff on this visit was most welcoming and helpful for anything we needed. Despite the garage was fully booked we managed to park a few metres from the hotel so easy stayover.

Located in a quiet street twixt rail station and city centre. Slightly faded but still quite elegant. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The toilet cistern lid was detached, but the mechanism worked the flush ok The breakfast tray was a nice continental cold selection and was a good start to the day.
