Clean, even under the bed was clean! The room was big and cozy. The personeel was kind. Good breakfast. Close to the train and bus stop.

The facilities were pleasantly above our expectations and was a pleaseure to stay at during our trip to Venice. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful to find transportation, suggestions for local restuarants and activities. They explained all of the local taxes and were upfront with the parking fees as well. The breakfast that we were served was also very delicious and organized very well which made it easy to get the kids fed in the morning. The area itself is also very nice with other hotels in the same area and has easy access to restaurants, pharmacies and grocery stores for anything that you may need. The parking space that we were provided was also behind an enclosed area and so was a private lot for specifically the guests at Chiara Lodge. Based on this trip, if we are in the same area, we will definitley be staying at Chiara Lodge again and not stay at the larger hotels that are available as this also had a much more local feel to the vacation.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Chiara Lodge, a charming family-run hotel in Mestre. The rooms are perfect for families—spacious, thoughtfully arranged, and the connected rooms made our stay especially comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding—fresh, varied, and prepared with high-quality homemade ingredients. Parking is conveniently located just across the street, and the hotel’s location is ideal, with easy access to the station for quick trips to Venice. We would happily return to Chiara Lodge on our next visit to Venice!

Why would you stay in the crowded center of Venice? This is simply the best choice. Location: There’s no need to struggle dragging your luggage through the old town. This area is modern, well-developed, and offers excellent access to the city center. The neighborhood is safe and convenient, with a supermarket and a ramen restaurant just 5 minutes away. The bus stop is nearby, and Bus No. 2 takes you directly to the main station. If you purchase an AVM day ticket, you can enjoy unlimited rides on both buses and ferries. Service: The host is extremely kind, professional, and attentive. The breakfast is amazing—comparable to a 5-star hotel. Bedroom & Bathroom: Everything is very clean and well-maintained. The marble floors feel hygienic and pleasantly cool.
