Particularly enjoyed the old tower at this guesthouse, which you are able to climb. The lady running the place is very efficient and the food was fantastic. Bathroom is shared by a lot of people, but everything is very clean and comfortable.

On the first day of the route from Mestia to Usghuli we hiked the track through the Chkhuti ridge. Guesthouse Gvidany has a wonderful position to end this route. The communication, willingness and kindness of the hosts was brilliant. Dinner at the guesthouse was very tasty and hearty. We ate the best khachapuri on the entire track here. The atmosphere of the village and the views from it are also great. It is not located entirely on the main route Mestia-Usghuli but it is worth staying here for the night. The room had no window facing directly outside. At first we were surprised by that. But we slept great in complete darkness. Good quality sleep for the next day of hiking.
