Malangen Resort provides transfers from and to Tromsø Airport and Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromsø city. Please note that a surcharge applies. Transfer service needs to be booked in advance, as it does not operate in case of no bookings. Remote & tranquil location. Activities & staff were excellent & very interesting. Staff were exceptional as they are excited to be in that location & keen to share their knowledge & pleasant to be with. The lakeside sauna & jacuzzi & icy Arctic swim.

Beautiful Location View from the apartment was great Northern Lights activity (Alice, our tour guide was amazing!) Spa was okay, but too expensive considering is only a jacuzzi and a sauna. Also, didn’t mention it was completely outside in the cold.

The cabin is charming and very cozy. It is clean, and you have everything you need; however, the bathroom does smell. The view is breathtaking and peaceful. The nearest supermarket is 20 minutes by car. We didn't rent a car as it was not advisable to do so during winter. Breakfast was lovely and worth the price. However, since we had no car, we had to eat at the hotel's only restaurant, which was pricy and mediocre but had good service. The Northern Lights tour was fantastic, gathering around the bonfire while waiting for the aurora to show. Tour guide Elodie is very friendly and goes out of her way to assist and watch out for Northern lights while we keep warm in the hut. The dog sledding was short and had an uncomfortable sled (without a cushion), but the dogs were super cute, and the guide was friendly and attentive. As for the snowmobile tour, although the guides were friendly and professional, it could have been better to do so in the open forest instead of going in circles within private farmland.
