To be fair, there were a few things I did appreciate: - On the day we had an early flight, breakfast wasn’t open yet, but the staff prepared a small tray for us with coffee, bread, cheese, ham and fruit. That was a thoughtful touch. - The bed was huge and very comfortable. - The room itself was spacious and clean. - The shower was great — strong water pressure and hot water. - The dinner we had at the restaurant was actually very tasty. - The SPA area is great.

Running a hotel is never easy, but when everything is going well it is a lot easier. When there are problems, then the hotel shows it's true quality. When we arrived my friend was not well. The room had been set up as a double room, despite us ordering it as a twin bed room. The staff immediately set to to change the beds. It then became obvious that separate rooms would be better. At every stage the staff did their best to help. They were brilliant. That ignores the brilliant location, excellent facillities, great restaurant, and comfortable rooms.
