A great little place, it was Easy to find, had lovely cold beer in the bar. Comfy bed so I slept really well after a long journey from the north west of England. The Fantastic breakfast set me up for the long second leg of my journey to Slovenia. Owners were lovely and friendly. A really pleasant stay.

Breakfast was excellent and the room comfortable. Like me, the Gasthof is not as young as it once was but it met my expectations. the walk into town was short and safe.

It is authentic, very real. Feels like home. There is a café downstairs. When I came home in the evening I sat at the bar and drank an Alster, beer with sprite. They made me a great sandwich with excellent ham, bit smokey. Really wonderful. The owner is a nice man, his parents owned the place. He‘s a local. The Location is close to the city center. I loved it.

Had a lovely stay at Gasthof Schmitt.For Budget accommodation I couldn't fault it. Being able to store my motorbike in a garage was an added bonus.

The owners are very warm and helpful! Room is a bit cramped but clean; the entire house has a family like atmosphere. Breakfast is excellent. Overall the best 40 Euros I spent on a hotel room.
