Excellent place to visit Merida and its surrounding. 5 minuts walking to the main square, then no need of using your car once arrived (BTW, there is a nice parking 2 mins away). The rooms where spacious, on 2 levels, and the hall was wonderful. We were offered a very nice breakfast too. Alltogheter, this place is higly recommendable!

We had an amazing stay at Viva Merida. It started from the very warm welcome we received from Julio, the owner. We got to park our car very easily and safely in a shared parking garage. Then we went into the hotel and were blown away by the beautiful courtyard of the hotel - it looks like it comes straight out of a fairytale. All the rooms are built around this courtyard, so it is the beating heart of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly with great tips to explore Merida and surroundings. The location is also superb as it is a short walk (4 to 5 blocks) away from the busy city center, which makes it a quiet location. We also liked the pool area to cool off after a very hot day of exploring Merida. A big thank you to everybody at Viva Merida and a warm recommendation to stay here when in Merida.
