It’s a really beautiful little oasis only at 20 minute walk from the centre. Don’t be put off by the look of the street outside, this is just Merida, the area feels really safe even at night time. The pool was great and the breakfast was really tasty. The suggestions on Nuik’s website are very helpful. Oli really helped me out when I made a mistake on our booking and also helped us to arrange a rental car via a local firm. Highly recommended.

It’s a gorgeous special city oasis 20 min from the center on foot. Calm and restoring. Claudia the owner is helpful and positive. Inspirational stay in every way.

The Casa Tropical really is an green Oasis in central Merida. The hostess and all of the personnel were really friendly and made us feel at home.
