There was a warm welcome from Aaron on arrival for our 8-night stay. We were in the Balam room (upstairs with a balcony) which was well decorated and very comfortable. It was spacious, with a large comfortable bed, plenty of storage and hanging space, a safe, a TV with some english channels. The room had A/C and a fan. In the public areas there was a small pool, lovely greenery and lots of nice seating areas. There was an honesty bar, free water and use of the fridge if needed. The breakfast was served between 8 and 9am. Each morning was different and plentiful, with refilable juice and coffee. Some mornings we got cinnamon buns or cake straight out of the oven. All of it was delicious and generous. Aaron was great and always friendly and helpful. The ladies assisting/cooking worked very hard and always nice. The owners Sarah and George were present at some point each day and always nice to talk to. Baby Elian was a cutey. This was the nicest place we stayed during 3 weeks in the Yucatan and we can't recommend it enough.

Fantastic location, close to all the central sites and gastronomic quarter. The staff and owners were all so lovely, and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. Breakfast was simple but really tasty, loved the refillable juice and great coffee. The garden is beautiful, felt like we were in the jungle in the city.

Aaron and his team went above and beyond in helping us make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. The breakfasts were superb and were different every day of our stay. The courtyard and pool area are beautifully presented with a peaceful and tranquil ambience . The rooms are spacious, beds are large and comfy and the locality is ideal for exploring Merida. We have been travelling around Mexico and Central America for the last 10 weeks and have stayed in many hotels etc...this place was easily up there as one of the best!
