The fine print
Handover of the keys will take place at the agency in charge of the accommodation, which is located at a different address than the rental property. This address will be communicated to you by the agency after the reservation has been paid in full, 14 days prior to your arrival at the latest. Bed linen and towels are not available at the property, please make sure you bring your own.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The flat was rented through an agency so we never met the owner. Collecting the keys had to be done during the working hours of the agency (and they have a long lunch break!), I recommend calling them in advance. The flat is very small, like most in ski resorts in France, with a refurbished kitchen and bathroom (it makes a difference, trust me). Well-equipped (dishes, pans, a pressure pot, raclette heater), however lacking every possible little thing you may expect - salt, sugar, dishwasher sponge and liquid, soap, some detergent. Everything excluding some dishwasher tabs (the dishwasher was a +, not usually to be found in such flats). Wash machine available (bring your own detergent). Bedlinen and towels need to be booked through the agency well in advance. The flat was very sunny (full South), with a large and very convenient covered balcony, facing the ski slopes to the left. Nice view, especially for the fireworks on 31 Dec! There was an elevator, which we used a lot, considering the flat is 5 levels above entrance level. Conveniently warm (electric heaters, electricity was included in the price). Cleaning was extra (50 EUR) so we left it clean anyway. There is a deposit of 450 EUR to be drawn on your credit card upon arrival! Neighbors rather quiet, but the walls are very thin. Ski letting shop just 150m away (upwards on the staircase) and shop within walking distance (Carrefour at about 300m - pretty expensive; if you come by car, esp a big one, thing of bringing some goodies in a refrigerator box, like ham, smoked salmon etc. since delicacies tend to be very expensive there). No large supermarkets in Meribel or Mottaret, you need to go down to the valley (not worth it). Altogether a good experience.
