Les Cabanes de Lara was a little slice of heaven and just the break we needed. Daniel the owner was very kind and helpful. We recommend the breakfasts, brought to your cabin in such a beautiful setting, we loved sitting outside our cabin and enjoying the delicious and fresh food. There was everything we needed for a family of 4 and plenty to keep us entertained on the site with the swimming pool, the nature around the lake, fishing, as well as the ping pong, table football and lots of space. We were also able to explore the beautiful surrounding area of the Dordogne. We hope to return!

The few days we spent there were amazing. Daniel and his wife were one of the best hosts we have ever experienced. A perfect little hideaway for families that love nature and tranquility. We were lucky enough to have the whole facility for ouselves, but they dont have many cabins anyway (8 if i recall correctly) . The breakfast provided every morning to the cabin was delicious with homemade (bio) products. The kids loved the banana cake! Our dog could also roam around freely, with the hosts being very animal friendly (provided homemade dried dog goodies every day!). Our son was busy fishing the whole day, trying to catch the large amounts of pike and perch in the lake. He loved it! The cabins are new and in a very good shape. We can recommend the cabin on its own little island (you can't have more privacy)
