Everything was wonderful. Nick, the owner was so kind to us accommodating our needs and we both got a beautiful comfortable room. We dined in the hotel and had a delicious bar supper and a lovely breakfast was included in our room rate. I would highly recommend this warm and welcoming family-run hotel

Much to like, but lack of decent alternatives locally means that you do pay a premium. Tweedbank station a short taxi ride (or a very pleasant river walk) from the hotel making a day trip into Edinburgh easy

Lovely super friendly staff . Very comfortable hotel and very popular. Food was very hearty and large platefuls. Plenty of choice. Very central location.
