The design of the hotel is very nice and impressive. The gardens are well kept. The breakfast was great with lots of options available. The rooms are very big and the bed is very comfortable. The cocktails were good. The staff was professional but mostly distant.

After un upgrade, to a junior suite, some amenities promised by FO staff were only delivered after multiple request over 2 days. Unfortunately we hade only a short brake stay over and this was a little disappointing. Not asking by FO staff if we would like a room credit, complicated our evening diner, since this was only possible if I had my CC card on me, drinks where cancelled while my diner partner needed to wait for me to come back with a CC for payment, not what I expected form a 5* property.
