This is an entire large two bedroom apartment, right on the town square. It is spacious, comfortable and personally furnished. The large kitchen has everything you could want, and opens to the main square. The lounge has plenty of comfortable.chairs and table. Both bedrooms are large, with plenty of luggage space. It feels like being in your great aunties or gandmothers house, which was a unique experience in a different country. It's a great location to walk to anything you need, or to explore Torres region by car. The owners run a cafe and pizza shop downstairs so you can smell the lovely wood fired oven in the afternoon. The local residents were friendly and helpful.

A typical house from Serra da Estrela. I really enjoyed my stay at casa Serra da Estrela, just a 25 minute drive to the Torre (Serra da Estrela). The house had everything we needed, and we received such a kind and lovely support from Maria and her husband. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to. And the olive bread Maria’s husband made for us was absolutely delicious. Thank you.

The host was very welcoming and attentive even though I do not speak portugese. The wooden art is amazing. That was a nice surprise.
