Friendly staff in the evening. Friendly staff in the morning. Breakfast was ok (same as every year). The location is great for walks in and around the town of Melk.

Melk is a lovely old town and the abbey and gardensare stunning. I used Melk as a base for a cycling holiday and it worked well.
