Perfect location on the main square and close to the great abbey. Very helpful staff. We got all the information we needed about the town and he carried one suitcase up the stares. Nice room with wonderful view over the main square. It was perfect for our one-night stay in Melk.

Everything was great about this place. A huge plus is that you come come almost anytime to check in (up to 23:30 I think). Most other hotels have a check in to 7-9 PM. The receptionist was really nice and knew great English. Huge plus is that there is a private parking right behind the hotel building (secured by a barrier). We had a room in the highest floor so it was pretty hot in there, but there was an A/C unit available - which is great. The room was spacious and had a normally big bed. The bathroom was small but very clean. We also had TV in our room. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t speak on the quality of that. Honestly for this price you can’t get anything better (I think). The location is also great - hotel sits right at the edge of the city square and it’s about 10 minute walk away from the beautiful castle/monastery on the hill. I highly recommend this hotel! Beautiful town, hotel in the centre of it. Excellent secure parking. Lovely balcony in our room to watch the activities below.
