Position in Melk: close to the centre, to the Danube, at the foot of the fantastic Stift Melk (Melk Abbey). Self-service "honesty bar" on the ground floor; Availability of the owner, Herr Berger: helpful even in very hard conditions (storm Boris, and flooding risk)
