John “Beautiful villa for large group in untouristy area”

We were a group of four couples and so the bedrooms all with en-suite was perfect for us. Lovely huge villa with amazing aircon that silently kept the inside cool, but allowed every room to be individually controlled. Big kitchen with everything we needed esp two fridges! Superb lounge/diner that we spent a lot of time in the evenings as too hot outside! The pool, although small, was lovely to cool down - and got some shade after 5pm. There was a bbq which we used twice, but it was a bit rustic and only had a smallish table (for 8) adjacent (another larger table was being painted!). There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance and we enjoyed 1954 in Melissi.

Stunning seaside Villa with exceptional facilities and attention to detail. Gorgeous courtyard and terrace to laze on as well as the beautiful sea across the road. The hosts were extremely accommodating 😊

The house is newly renovated so everything is fresh, no damages. Considering the history of property (back to 18 century) I was impressed the owner kept original furniture and renovated it to the perfect condition. Five rooms with five bathrooms + double beds are extremely convenient for a big company. The modern conditioning system and solar panels also the advantage. The kitchen is more than fully equipped. Though you don’t really need it having a huge range of delicious restaurants around. Overall the house is huge. Wifi is good in all rooms. There is no TV but many board games provided. There is a huge private territory to walk around with a private olive plantation and mandarin trees. If you catch the season you can pick fresh fruits by yourself (like we did in late December). The sea view is a headliner of the villa. There is a small (not private) beach in a 2 minutes walk. The location is very convenient for exploring! we traveled every day around by car during one week stay. The owner Dimitris is the friendliest host we’ve met. He provided us 24/7 support, many local recommendations, brought us things we needed (as living nearby) and taught us a lot about Greece. He speaks many languages. Our small dog also loved to play with his two Irish Setters. If you have any doubts, just don’t think and give it a try. I would love to go to this place again.
