You get your own little apartment with your own entrance and balcony right next to a small pool which you can also use. The place is really nicely decorated and has pretty much everything you need for a longer stay including a nice kitchen if you want to store some food and do your own basic cooking. It is just nice for a couple or a single occupant, but not more than that. You get the morning sun from the balcony and can hear the goats moving around in a small valley below where you can also walk down. The place is nicely located right across the street from the main supermarket in town where there is also DIY laundry facilities (we did not use it so can't comment on the easiness of this). There is free parking right outside the apartment which is also an extra bonus. Melides is a very small town but still stretches out over a few kilometers. The place is located at the end of the town, but you can walk everywhere if you have the energy. However, you would likely want to drive if you want to go to the few better restaurants in the area.

It was everything and more than what we needed after a lang and intense day of hiking. A supermarket and a laundry at the other side of the street. Perfect!!!
