Perfect location. Easy walk to the tram stop about 150m away, CBD one direction and St Kilda the other. Very clean rooms. Very friendly and informative staff. Will return on next visit to Melbourne

The staff were all professional in their approach to service and friendly as well. They were all accommodating whenever I asked. The food at Woods was all fresh and prepared and plated inviting a taste. View Melbourne is situated conveniently to local shops and trams and everything within a confidante walking distance.

For those needing a quiet, peaceful and well appointed place to stay while needing the Alfred Hospital close by, I recommend View Melbourne. The Hop Garden Bar and the more formal Woods Restaurant are also great choices for meals. In fact I call Woods a hidden gem. Pretty much a fine dining experience and not much more than pub prices.
