The staff here are friendly and helpful, even remembered me from my one-night stay last year! They provide lovely meals (with great accommodation for vegetarians, like me) including dinner and breakfast. The pub/restaurant is lovely and the locals are friendly and good-natured - even though us Festival go-ers come and disturb their peace every year! The rooms are super cute, twin room with a homely vibe and it's like having a little cottage with your own front door. You can also park your car right outside if you want to. They come equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, storage, and a fridge which was a bonus given that I was planning to be camping for 5 days after this and I could keep my fruit and Babybels cold for a bit longer. Location was fantastic for Download Festival, only a few mins from Melbourne Town which has free parking and some sweet cafes and shops.

Very nice you get exactly what described and the staff are so lovely and welcoming :) super clean and cozy room plus very close to donington park.
