Lyf is a really great base for visiting Melbourne. Collingwood is a lovely suburb with lots of restaurants and cafes and it's easy to jump on a tram into the CBD. The hotel itself has everything you need for a city break. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and modern. It's basically a hotel with the conveniences of a hostel such as a shared kitchen and laundry. I was working in Melbourne and had paid for a co-working space but I needn't have as the lobby had desks with plugs and areas to take private calls.

Clean well maintained building and room, staff were amazing and helpful every step of the way. After check out they stored our luggage for us until we had ti collect for our evening flight.
