The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. All bookings are subject to an additional MYR 2 Heritage Charge per room per day. This is to be paid directly at the hotel.

Hotel is set in beautifully restored traditional Peranakan houses with modern comforts and excellent location next to Jonker Street. I didn't drive but they have free parking available which is a gem in that part of the old town. They screen movies nightly in the open courtyard on the huge wall screen with excellent sound which is a very nice touch.

Right at the heart of historical Malacca where tradition, hype and its Peranakan culture presents itself at its best. Yet it’s away tucked in obscurity in all the hype of Jonker Street in all its splendour and elegance. Love how it blends modernity and yet retaining its roots and glory. Immaculate service and hospitality. Rooms were clean with all amenities presented. Enjoyed my short stay thoroughly.
