We arrived at the chalet 2 days before Christmas, we were welcomed by fairy lights around the outside of the chalet on the balcony and inside decorated with a Christmas tree and other decorations which was a lovely surprise! We stayed for 7 nights and wished we could stay longer. We cooked Christmas dinner here, and the chalet was well equipped for this. There is a supermarket for food a short drive away (approx 8 min) and also a lovely bakery (5 min drive). There are lots of places to visit for day trips, we went to Evian les bains, all around the lake to Villeneuve, Montreux, Vevey and Lausanne. We took a drive to Gruyeres (1 hour) and went up the train and cable car to Moleson sur Gruyeres mountain peak, which has gorgeous views and a fun bobsleigh ride at the bottom. We also went to Morzine (1 hour drive). There is still plenty more exploring to do, so we would love to go back again and stay here in the summer months. The chalet is clean and warm and has stunning views over the lake. There is also lots of outside space. The host was very communicative and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
