We've just returned to the UK from a magical stay at villa Thea in Aptera, Crete. My remit was I wanted stunning views and peace to recover from a stressful past few weeks and boy did it deliver! The most relaxing holiday we've ever had. The hosts Manolis and Sue were extremely attentive and so helpful - they live just beside the villa, so are on hand for any questions or recommendations, they made sure our stay was very comfortable. The pool is perfect and the villa has everything you could possibly need - dont buy too much in the supermarket though as the 3 tavernas a ten min walk away serve excellent food. We are already planning our return trip! We are a family of four and only used the upstairs interconnecting bedrooms, but there is another spacious double bedroom downstairs and a separate small annex with kitchenette (negotiated separately), the villa could comfortably take 8 adults. At first we were concerned about the lack of reviews, but found the villa on another platform with all 5 star reviews! The sunsets from the terrace alone are worth this VIP experience. 10 out of 10, most perfect holiday thank you!

Such a beautiful location with magnificent views across Souda Bay. We fell in love with Villa Thea on first sight. A beautiful, well equipped and comfortable Villa with everything you could wish for. Very clean snd well maintained, Villa Thea is perfect for a calm and restful holiday in the sun. There are views of the sea and of the mountains from the various terraces. There is also a very clean swimming pool with an area for young children. Manolis is a great host : very friendly, generous and knowledgable about the island of Crete. Nothing is too much trouble for him. The village of Aptera is near great beaches, excellent tavernas and the beautiful town of Chania is only a 15 minutes away. The village has three good tavernas if you do not want to drive. I can truly recommend Villa Thea as an excellent place to spend your vacation. Thank you Manolis.
