Ivana our Host was a real Gem! She was always available to assist us and always with a cheerful and bubbly self. The daily breakfast was scrumptious and the amount generous! The eggs were done different every day! We were asked to pack the leftovers for our lunch as well. These mealtimes brought so much commanderie amongst the pilgrims who formed lasting friendships. The rooms were neat, clean and comfortable. Infact the whole house including the dining area was bright, freshed and welcoming! To top it all, Ivana attended to our laundry!!! There were raincoats, hats, tracking sticks, translation radios, adapters available on loan! Location was great as well, very close to the main bus station and an easy walk to St James Church. There are also 3 supermarkets within a stone throw….how good is that! We are eternally grateful to Ivana and her husband for tracking down a long lost childhood friend of 37 years - Jelena Cilic - whom we thought we would never meet again. Ivana and her family especially her son Miro has become family to us and we will definitely stay there again

Casa-Verde is the perfect place to sleep and have breakfast. The quality and price are unbeatable. The staff speaks 3 languages perfectly: English, Italian and Bosnian and is of a unique kindness and helpfulness.

Ivania was the perfect host, really good breakfast. She and her husband make our trip to Medjugorje even more special, comfortable, and easy. Strongly recommend the Casa verde, and if I come back, it will be the place that I stay again.
