Super characterful property, cultured owner, lots of local knowledge and a carefully curated and excellent breakfast. Location is fantastic and a very short walk from the main square/cathedral.

Great Location - very central and quiet, by a canal. Breakfast was fabulous, plentiful and varied! The room, and house were decorated with care and style, with many retro/classic furniture and accessories. Serge, the host, is charming and helpful, and a mine of historical information relating to Mechelen. It was a joy to stay here!

The breakfast was great. Plenty to eat, very fresh, and a wonderful variety of food options. I enjoyed talking with the host, his tour of the house and the beautuful art pieces he has collected. Also appreciated his recommendations for places to eat and local attractions to visit.
