The Host Rita was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately during our stay I ended up in hospital.. She came to the hospital with fresh clothes for me and made sure I was ok. She was amazing and such a good host.

Fabulous B&B very conveniently located for the railway station and old town of Mechelen, extremely comfortable, clean and has bucket loads of character. The owner Rita was exceptionally helpful, organised and did her best to look after me. She made me wonderful breakfasts which set me up for the rest of the day! I loved my stay at De Lachende Engel and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it.

We had a very comfortable stay in the room on the second floor with the extra living space. Rita is a very welcoming and helpful host and provided wonderful breakfasts. The B&B is conveniently located half way between the railway station and the centre.
