We recently enjoyed a beautiful two-night stay at Stone Earth Retreats in McLaren Vale, and it was truly one of the most special little getaways we’ve had. The retreat itself is absolutely stunning — perfectly positioned amongst the vines at the top of the hill, offering what has to be one of the best views in McLaren Vale. Waking up to rolling vineyards and seeing d’Arenberg in the distance from our bed was incredibly picturesque. One of the standout features was the outdoor bath — the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the vines. Unwinding with a glass of the complimentary bottle of Mollydooker “Euphoria by Sarah,” was such a lovely touch and made the stay feel even more special. Our booking also included a wine tasting at Mollydooker Wines, which was a fantastic experience. The wines were delicious and the staff were warm, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We also want to mention the exceptional service when the air conditioning wasn’t working properly, Holli responded immediately — racing up to the retreat and within 20 minutes fixed the issue and ensuring the retreat was beautifully cool by the time we returned. That level of care and responsiveness made a real difference and didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you, Holli and the team for creating such a gorgeous space and for your attentive hospitality. We will absolutely be recommending Stone Earth Retreats and Mollydooker Wines!

Stunning location, beautifully and thoughtfully curated stay. Everything was considered and unobtrusive. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Fireplace worked amazingly well. Beautiful spot outside to have a wine and watch the sun go down. 11/10 experience.
