What a fantastic place. I can't imagine what took me so long to book here. The owners have well and truly create a very special place here. Our stay was incredible and Dove Cottage was the perfect size for us, a couple with our 2 furbabies. The temporary pet fencing in place surrounding the porch worked wonderfully containing our doggies when we didn't want them to be roaming around. We haven't even left yet and we're already planning our return to Fossil Hills!

Lovely country cottage on the outskirts of the pretty village of McGregor. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped, good WiFi . Although there are several cottages on the farm they are well spaced and private. Lovely walks around the farm and dam. Definitely recommend, we are booked to return next year already

Peaceful, tranquil cottage away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This was our second time at Dove cottage and dare I say, we can't wait to book the next trip 😉 A great benefit was that we were able to braai indoors when the weather changed. McGregor wines is just a short trip up the road and definitely worth the visit. The cottage provides all the luxury of home, beautifully decorated, filled hot tub (just need to be heated) and best of all was the extended check-out time.
