Great apartment with a large balcony to amazing views of the mountains and the town below. Every evening we were greeted by our hospitable hosts with shot of schnapps and in the morning we were served hot buns for breakfast. The owner is an avidy fisherman and the house has a great collection of trophies, many beautiful photos of fish from all over the world.

The apartment is about 1 km walk (uphill) from Mayrhofen but really it was nice to be in a quieter place when coming home from hiking or being in town. There is a balcony with a beautiful view. Karlheinz is a great host that loves to chat a little. We brought or 1-year-old son and both Karlheinz, oma and the caretaker of oma (Ioana) loved him so children are more than welcome. This place is very good for the price.

This property has beautiful views of Mayrhofen! It has everything you need for a trip away, the facilities were excellent. we travelled with a baby and found the washing machine especially useful! we arrived on a bank holiday and no shops were open, the owners were so kind in looking after us until the shops opened the next day. it is close to both lifts (about 20 minute walk to the one furthest away). there is also a beautiful waterfall and walk at the top of the mountain next to the property, you can get a bus to get to.
