Perfect Summer Getaway Near Emerald Park! We recently enjoyed a 2-night summer break with the kids at Kilcloon Holiday Cottages in Co. Meath — and what a lovely stay it was! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful hosts, Michael & Jacinta. The cottages are set in a peaceful countryside location, with quiet, well-kept surroundings — perfect for a relaxing escape with the family. We stayed in the three-bedroom studio apartment, which had a modern interior, super clean, and equipped with all the basic necessities. The beds were very comfortable, and we all slept so well. Location-wise, it’s ideal just a short drive to Maynooth town, where there were lots of great dining options, and only about 30 minutes to Emerald Park, which was the highlight of the trip for the kids. We highly recommend Kilcloon Holiday Cottages for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly stay close to top attractions in Co Meath. 5 stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very lovely place. We were greeted by the owner shortly after arrival who offered us a load of advice on spots to take the kids and where to eat. Even tried to contact a local riding centre for the kids to go horse riding. The rooms were very comfortable and the entire property very clean. A lovely spot to take our weekend break

We loved our stay at Kilcloon holiday homes. Jacinta and Michael were absolutely incredible, accommodating with all of the requests we had which really made this weekend a special one for me and my family. Thank you both so much and we hope to be back there one day. Ideal location for a day trip out of Dublin. Excellent homes, equipped with everything one can think of. Comfy beds and excellent showers, access to barbecue was a great option to have :)
