Location superb, surrounded by Olive grove, as described. All that you could need for kitchen equipment, must mention the full size fridge capable of holding all that you might need. incredibly quiet location, perfect to relax on large terrace. Desciption of the cottage is accurate but understates how good it is. A real home from home and only a 10 minute walk to the local taverna. cannot state enough what a wonderful time we had in this cozy cottage. Owner left a suprise welcome package, which was very thoughtful and kept in touch throughout our visit to see if all was good and it was better than good. We are in contact to book again. Highly recommend.

The stay at Vageli's house in Mavrata was just excellent and the wellcome basket with local products provided a warm welcome to the island . The village is quiet and there is a local tavern 10m on foot with great food. We enjoyed the spacious place and the surrounding as a family. Everything that would be necessary was available and we even more, great value for money. Even parking space was available inside the property. Additionally we took advantage of the furnishings provided in the garden. It felt very much like home when we stayed in Kefalonia. This was also accompanied by the great and friendly owner, who was always contactable, reached very quickly and provided great recommentations and excellent communication ahead of our arrival. We would always recommend staying at Vageli's place and would always come back - hopefully soon!

Great location to explore South of the island. Large rooms etc plenty of space and very private Superb communications with the host. Good welcome pack on arrival most usefull.

Unique place with very polite host! You will recieve more than expected - from the mineral water in the fridge and the welcome snacks to the spare set of battery for the remote control. If you are searching for a relaxing, detached from the crowd, roomy place - this is a perfect choice in Kefalonia.
