Guests arriving after 17:00 must inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.In order to prepare special amenities for men and women, guests are kindly requested to indicate the gender of each guest staying in the room in the Special Requests box when booking.Please note, the on-site bathroom is not available due to cleaning from 14:30-15:00 every day except Thursday and 10:00-15:00 on Thursdays.Guests with children need to contact the property in advance if they require child meals. Charges apply.Please note, guests must notify the property at least 2 days in advance of their arrival date to request on-site meals. Contact details can be found in the booking confirmation.Please note there are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby.The property is a 60-minute drive from Matsumoto Interchange. Guests arriving with a car are advised to drive early as roads to the property are through a mountainous area.Please note that public transportation between Matsumoto Station and the property is limited and guests arriving by public transportation are advised to check bus and train schedules in advance.Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.

Amazing location and staff. This is a cold onsen so don’t expect boiling hot water, it is just pleasant enough so that you are not cold. Not too big or crowded, which was a big plus. Food was amazing and staff was very welcoming. Definitely coming back in different seasons. The kotatsu in the rooms was a very nice experience as well.

The outside onsen is very nice. For those that don’t like very hot water, this is a good opportunity to experience a ryokan with great kaiseki meals, and a mild temperature rotemburo. Also, if you go with a partner, you can enjoy the big onsen with your partner, since it is mixed gender ( bathing “towel-suit” provided in the dressing room). The staff was very proactive about communicating regarding road conditions, which was very helpful.
