It is a very beautiful property at the top of a steep hill which rewards you with a beautiful view. We could see the Heights of Abraham from our bedroom window. The hosts are very helpful with advice about the local area. The suite was wonderful, with a small fridge (fresh milk provided), a large bathroom and lounge area. The breakfast was top quality, we had cooked breakfast both days and also some fresh fruit, yoghurt and pastries. All locally supplied. Perfect location for Matlock Bath, Bakewell and the Dales.

Breakfast was superb ! Loved the location, quite steep uphill but this wasn’t a problem for my husband and I. Sue and John were amazing hosts. The place was spotlessly clean. I loved the personal touch!

The owners were excellent, they could not do enough for us from the moment we arrived until we left. The breakfast was excellent. We would recommend this B&B to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

The location was beautiful and picturesque. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice including a lovely fresh fruit platter with natural yogurt. The bed was really comfortable and we had the best nights sleep. The hosts were really friendly and were always available if you needed anything.
