We found the house warm and welcoming and tastefully decorated. There was everything we needed, and it was a great base for exploring the area. We much appreciated the welcome pack. The river walk across the busy road was great for the dog, as there was no garden as such. There were plenty of towels with large ones for showering. Large towels always get extra points! There are plenty of eating options within walking distance. We would happily book again if we were to be in that area. We were lucky with the weather too, and with the blossom and bluebells out, Matlock looked very pretty.
