Dear little barn, extremely well and nicely furnished with everything that we needed. Others had mentioned a microwave might be useful but it's clearly a decision the owner has made not to put one in, not the end of the world. A bit of cupboard space to put your provisions in would certainly be useful (& achievable), we don't all eat out every night, especially these days and when travelling with dogs. The conservatory area was an absolute god send and we spent a good deal of time in there in the evenings, as being a barn it's naturally quite dark inside, snug in the winter I should think, and definitely cool in the summer.

It was so very quiet here, I loved sitting in the conservatory and listening to the birds. The patio is a lovely sun trap

Location to Matlock was good..Nice to be outside of Matlock in a smaller village. Nice walk down to the cable cars and Matlock.. Barn had been converted really well ..it is small but good for a short stay. It was very clean and well presented and had some lovely touches.
