The lodge was a perfect set up for our large family gathering. It can easily accommodate 3 families or 5 couples - one of the 5 chalets actually has a king size bed and in a separate room 2 twin beds so there are beds for 12 people with 5 en-suite bathrooms. The newly renovated main building was wonderfully designed with 3 separate seating areas, dining area, kitchen bar, drinks bar and a small gym room. The kitchen is well equipped and there are 2 ladies who keep it all clean throughout the day. The boma area is a highlight! Rochelle the manager/game ranger is lovely and so accommodating with your game drives.

The guide Carel made the wxperience worrh wile. Generalnstaff are mot good at all. Drinks variety is extremely limited.

From the breakfasts to the best fillet steak I have ever tasted, Deon and his team exceeded our expectations. We were treated to some of the best game viewing that South Africa has to offer, where animals are placed first and not overcrowded with ridiculous amounts of vehicles/tour guides trying to get the best tips. We swam, read and enjoyed family time, while surrounded by the comforts of home. I gave Deon some pointers as how to elevate this experience even more and was met with enthusiasm and an interest to do better. A beautiful home set in a magical place.
