Very well maintained stone rooms in the heart of Matera's historic town, making it super convenient to walk around and explore the town on foot. Our hosts were kind and helpful, and even offered a discounted entry to the nearby underground cave museum. The accommodation was well equipped, clean and comfortable and gave us a small taste of what living in a Sassi feels like! Our hosts also gave us a map and guided us on the best routes to explore Matera which was very thoughtful of them :)

The property is in the perfect location for exploring both Sassis, and feels very safe and authentic to Matera. It is also close to many cafes and restaurants. Giuseppe was very friendly and gave us a map which showed us the best route for exploring. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. Thank you!

Lovely, clean and well-located right in the heart of the Sassi. The room had that beautiful stone charm Matera is known for, and made a great base to explore the city on foot.
