The best accommodation I could find in Matera, in the city centre, close to everything, in a beautiful location, the room is very cozy, clean, comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything. Rocco is the best host, kind and helpful.

The hostel is in the heart of the historical part of Matera, so everything is reachable witihn short time (except for big discount grocery stores). The building has basically one huge room divided by curtains. In the common area there is a comfortable sofa as well as chairs; wifi works well. There is a small kitchen niche suitable for some basic cooking. 3 bathrooms with showers are disposable, too. The host, Ricco, is super friendly and attentive.
