Very cool place to stay, in a cave. There isn't much of a view from in the apartment, but we brought chairs and sat outside the front overlooking the sassi. Breakfast was pretty good too.

We loved Matera and this beautiful historical apartment, it has a lot of character and history, it makes you feel like you are living in an era of a few hundred years ago. I’m sure everyone will love it. It’s right in the heart of Matera , the best location , close to everything. Let me tell you the breakfast our host made was beautiful, she made it with love and we were very thankful. Grazie Mille. To anyone thinking of staying here book it before it gets booked out. There is ample space for 4 people, not sure if the lounge turned into another double be as we didn’t use it. Ciao Matera we miss you 😘

A beautiful cave house in a perfect location with an amazing view. All the main sights are just a short walk away, and parking is available in a nearby garage. We had a warm and friendly welcome, and the homemade breakfast made us feel right at home.

Fabulous b&b in the heart of Matera. The original 8000 year old cave room was Super clean, comfortable and spacious. We were a couple but lots of room for a family too. A stunning view of the amazing stone church from the terrace. Breakfast was delicious with homemade ham, cakes and other treats. Very very lovely, helpful and friendly hostess.
