Exceptional setting with an amazing view from the balcony. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Perfect location for exploring the Sassi area, close to many restaurants and the train station.

Wonderful location close to the heart of the town, with a great view from our room. The people were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and a great quality bathroom too. A little gem. There was a good selection of food at breakfast too.

This hotel is wonderful. The staff are really lovely (they also gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant which uses only local produce, ask them, it was fab!) and the location is perfect; an easy walk to everything. It's so cute inside as well, just like the photos they published on here. Breakfast was great as well, and when we needed to leave before breakfast on the final morning, they packed one up for us the night before. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It was perfect.

We fell absolutely in love with L' hotel in Pietra. He had the most wonderful room that we've ever stayed with a big jacuzzi and a terrace. The stuff was also awesome.The best hotel at the most romantic city!

First time in Matera, what an absolutely magical place-surreal. My room was tiny, however, travelling alone I felt the peace & the bed was very comfortable along with a sensational shower. A little safe haven to come home to with a terrace with an amazing view. Thankyou to all your staff for your caring & professional hospitality, you were all wonderful, especially Roberto & Francesco. Thankyou also for carrying my suitcase down the many steps to the taxi , much appreciated :) I feel blessed to have chosen L’Hotel In Pietra :)

Location is good. Very helpful team, they got us special dietary every day. Very spacious room and beautiful for cosy winter Christmas vibes. We booked the room with jacuzzi and it was marvellous. They gifted us a beautiful wine bottle. Thank you
