Monica and her team welcomed us very warmly and helped with everything we needed. The apartment is nicely decorated, spacious, and very quiet, even though it’s close to the city centre. It’s located in a closed inner courtyard, so there’s almost no noise from outside. Getting there from the main station was easy, even with larger suitcases. The only small challenge was carrying the luggage down the stairs in the courtyard, but that’s quite normal in Matera. Breakfast was delicious, thank you! And our sincere apologies again for the small accident with the bedsheet, which Monica handled very kindly and with great understanding. By the way, if you have time, visit the lovely café run by her family nearby; it’s definitely worth it.

Would highly recommend this accommodation. It was in a perfect location, easy walking to everything. The room was amazing and a bit quirky. Breakfast was served in the courtyard outside our room with views overlooking this amazing town. Monica was very helpful and served a beautiful breakfast. We stayed in the quadruple room with shower.

The location was perfect ,very close to the historic center and within walking distance to all the main attractions. The room was clean and the hosts were absolutely amazing ,warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. They gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area. You can really see how much they care about making their guests feel at home. We would definitly recommend this place to anyone visiting Matera.
