Superb location, 15 minutes from the centre and restaurants. Private parking a major plus given road parking looked limited and cramped. Apartment was spotlessly clean, Pino met us there and was easy to contact. Lots of thoughtful items , toilet roll, lots of water and free breakfast, fruit , yoghurts, prepacked cakes and croissants . Other than buying juice we did not not need to go out for breakfast. Air conditioning was quiet and definately needed given the heat and shower was hot. Wifi worked well. Pino spent 20 minutes with a map showing us the key sites which really helped. We walked the green route right round the town m took us three hours but with drink and lunch stops. Must descend into the sassi as was fascinating. We ate at L.osteria L.arco nice food but expensive for small portions. Also burger and pale where had some of the best ribs of my life. Nice to also have a drink at the enoteca opposite.

The accommodation is extremely clean. When you enter the apartment, you will feel such a nice smell. The apartment has everything for a pleasant stay. The owner has provided secure parking. The apartment is located very close to the old town. The owner gave us very detailed information that was extremely useful for visiting Matera. We also listened to him regarding restaurant recommendations. All in all a very pleasant experience. My warm recommendations for this accommodation. If we go to Matera again, I will definitely stay here.
