What a lovely apartment! Cosy, clean, well equipped, good neighbourhood, close to the sassi, parking on the other side of the street and a very caring and welcoming host. There was nothing more to wish for. I can recommend it fully.

The apartment is located just 250m from the Sassi. There is a fairly large parking lot just in front of the apartment and we were lucky enough to find a spot even though we arrived late at night (almost midnight). The parking lot is free. The apartment is located on top of a very steep staircase, which was just fine for us, but it may be difficult for some. The place in itself has two floors, where there is a kitchen and living room area, bathroom and one bedroom downstairs and another open-plan bedroom upstairs with three beds. The kitchen is very well equipped, although we did not make use of it. The host is lovely and kind and provided us with water in the fridge, some coffee capsules and a bottle of wine. Thanky you very much Domenico! We very much enjoyed our stay in Matera and can only recommend it.

Excellent location, free parking and right next the historic centre, great host, stylish and well equipped flat, comfortable bad. Everything perfect.

Great host, very helpful. Lovely property, great location, easy free parking, nearby to groceries, nearby to old city, water/tea/coffee provided. Were able to leave our car parked a bit longer after check out while doing further last minute exploring.
