The host Cosimina was responsive and informative. She was waiting to let us into the house, showed us the place and how things worked. She also provided us with recommendations of where to eat and key sights to see. The house was clean and spacious for 3 of us with 2 bathrooms with heating and ample hot water. Good towels. Modern refurbished kitchen with ample supply of coffee and tea. Lovely house with curved ceiling and fantastic location in the sassi with a view out to the cathedral a few steps from the front door. It was central enough to walk anywhere in the old town and still quiet enough without hordes of people walking past the front door.

A beautiful sassi house in a fantastic location, very clean and comfortable. Cosimina our host was extremely helpful with explaining layout and items in the house as well as must do’s and restaurants in stunning Matera. Advice was also given on where to park nearby which was very helpful. Wifi worked well.

The Property had everything you needed. Extremely nice to turn up to a property with a welcoming host who, had information to share on her town with had supplied tea coffee light breakfast. We loved our afternoons where we took the outside furniture to the front to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the moonrise.
