Michael “A fantastic stay in an out of this world place”

The design and decor was stylish , atmospheric, comfortable and really practical. The shower was huge and the toiletries supplied were comprehensive and good quality. The breakfast was excellent and you could either have it at a table outside or in the dining room which was in a cave room. Both the owners Paola and Francesco were very happy to help with places to see and where to eat. They even followed up after our stay with tips on things to do on the remainder of the trip. The location was excellent with most sights within 10-15 minutes distance. Matera is tricky to drive in and park but Paola suggested a secure car park out of town with a shuttle service which made for a stress free trip.

Unique accommodation in a cave but luxuriously fitted out for the 21st century, close to the centre of the amazing Matera. Great breakfast in lovely restaurant area and amazing staff. Probably one of the best places we’ve stayed.
