Excellent location, very close to everything. Mario is a wonderful host who took the time to explain what we should visit. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

We stayed at lots of hotels, motels, and B&Bs, and this one was among the absolutely very best. Location: easily accessible from the central station and literally just around the corner from incredible historic sites. On arrival, we tried to get a taxi but couldn’t (probably because it was a Sunday), so we finally decided to walk. It turned out to be an easy walk, even with bags. The room was spacious, perfectly clean, comfortable, and cozy. We had an external (but fully private) bathroom, which was not a problem at all. The breakfast was very nice, with great coffee, a variety of pastries, fruit, cereal, and yogurt. And – last but definitely not least! – the host was just fantastic: very friendly, competent, and extremely helpful. P.S.: This review might sound overly complimentary, but that’s only because we were genuinely impressed 🙂.

I loved the hospitality, the central location and of course the host!! literally 15 minute or less to everything i wanted to see. it was great! breakfast was amazing, offering way more than needed !! kept us satisfied for hours.

Our experience in Matera was truly memorable. The host went above and beyond by providing us with detailed maps and personalized suggestions for the best places to visit. This guidance helped us discover some of the most breathtaking spots in the area. The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, and the breakfast was fresh and satisfying each morning. We felt very well taken care of and left with a deep appreciation for the city and its incredible history.
